A. No portion of a ground sign shall be higher than twenty (20) feet above existing grade.

B. A ground sign may project up to five feet over the public right-of-way; provided, that no portion of the sign is lower than twelve (12) feet above the surface of the street or sidewalk or closer than one foot to the curbline. However, a ground sign may not project over the public right-of-way if it is located on premises on which there is another projecting sign or a marquee sign that projects over the public right-of-way.
