Signs shall be so located as to maintain the clearances from overhead power, service, and communication lines as required by the Public Utilities Commission of the state and in no event shall be located with less than six feet horizontal and twelve (12) feet vertical clearance from electric conductors, bare or insulated, installed above the ground which are energized in excess of seven hundred fifty (750) volts, except such conductors as are enclosed in iron pipe or other metal covering of equal strength.
