For each plan year the employer shall contribute to the trust an amount equal to 6.7% of the compensation of each active participant earned as an employee during that plan year, however, the contribution for a plan year for any participant shall not exceed $2,170.80. The lesser of $324 or 1% of each such participant’s compensation shall be applied to provide disability benefits under Article 7. The remaining contribution shall be allocated to each participant’s account as provided in Section 4.36.402.

The contribution for each plan year shall be made as soon as practicable following payment of compensation to the participant. The trustee shall not be under any duty to inquire as to the correctness of the contribution and the determination of the amount as hereinabove provided shall be final and binding upon all persons.
