It is unlawful for any person to falsely impersonate or represent themselves within the limits of the City to be a police officer, deputy sheriff, deputy coroner, constable or deputy constable, or a member of the Fire Department, assessor or deputy assessor, electrical inspector, plumbing inspector or other inspector, or to wear any uniform resembling either in color or design, or both, any uniform used in the Berkeley Police Department, or to wear or use any sign, badge or device used in the Berkeley Police Department, the Berkeley Fire Department or in the sheriffs or coroner’s office.
