A. Every person specified in Section 12.84.040 of this chapter shall be jointly and severally liable for every violation of the provisions of this chapter.

B. Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine of five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a term not to exceed six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
