A. "No Smoking" or "Smoke Free" signs with letters not less than one inch in height or the international "No Smoking" symbol (consisting of a pictorial representation of a burning cigarette enclosed in a red circle with a red bar across it) shall be clearly, sufficiently and conspicuously posted in every building or other place where smoking is prohibited by this chapter by the owner, operator, manager or other person having control of such building or other place. The City Manager is authorized to install appropriate signage at bus stops and other public places owned or controlled by the City at which smoking is prohibited by this chapter.

B. Every theater owner, manager or operator shall post signs conspicuously in the lobby stating that smoking is prohibited within the theater or auditorium, and in the case of motion picture theaters, such information shall be shown upon the screen for at least five seconds prior to the showing of each feature motion picture.

C. Every restaurant shall have posted at every entrance a conspicuous sign clearly stating that smoking is prohibited.

D. Any ashtray located in a no smoking area must have a sign conspicuously posted within one foot of the ashtray with letters of two inches or more in height stating "Smoking Prohibited By Law - Extinguish Here". Ashtrays shall not be located within 50 feet of an entrance or exit to a health care facility, licensed child or adult care facility, or senior center or within 25 feet of an entrance or exit to any other building that is open to the public.
